HOME BUYER: Buy a home in the City of Hancock!
Move to Hancock! If you income qualify and you can prequalify for a fixed loan from a Financial Lender of your choice to purchase a Target Area home, you may be eligible to receive funding to assist with your home purchase & improvements! Hancock can offer financial assistance for up to $10,000 for down payment and closing costs and up to $25,000 of improvements. You do not have to be a current resident of Hancock to participate!
HOMEOWNER: Living in the City of Hancock!
If you are a current Hancock Homeowner, income qualify,
and have the ability to provide up to 25% owner match (approx
$13,000); you may be eligible to receive funding up to
$40,000 to assist
with your home improvements! Follow the program guidelines and the
loan can be reduced up to 50% in 5 years. The balance is an
interest free loan paid back when the home is no longer your
principal residence.
